An AI-generated report can look finished and still contain something I never meant to share.
In this video, I walk through a supplier-report handoff and the 3 checks I use before sending: CAR.
C: Contents. Open the actual outgoing file and check what is inside. A: Access. If you are sharing a link, check who can open it and what they can do. R: Recipient. Read every recipient’s full address, even when the name looks familiar.
I also look at a detail that is easy to miss: revoking access to a link does not retrieve a copy someone has already downloaded.
CAR is a practical place to pause. It does not cover every privacy risk. If I change the file, permissions or destination, I check that part again.
